Hello and welcome to all our readers. I am Dr. Elliot M. Gore, a clinical psychologist for over 40 years in private practice in New York and New Jersey. Having relocated to south Florida, I searched for a forum in which I could still share some of the expertise I gained over the many years of professional practice. I will be reproducing and improving upon many articles I wrote for local newspapers, which I hope will be of interest to many of you. I will also muse on a number of topics and situations which I think are of general interest, especially those conflicts which we all face in our daily lives.
